EsperanzaTeacher: Licentiate degree in Hispanic Philology at the Salamanca University in Spain. Ten years teaching experience in many schools and language institutes. Team leader of our school. She teaches in Ábaco since 2004.

Belen
Teacher: Licentiate Degree in Italian Philology at the Salamanca University in Spain. Master Degree in "enseñanza de español como lengua extranjera" (Master of Education) at the Salamanca University. She was teaching two years in USA. She was teaching in Brazil as well and in the Cursos Internacionales (International Spanish Studies) at the Salamanca University with 15 years of teaching experience.
"I teach in Ábaco since its foundation in 2001. I've worked in many school of languages and University but no place is like Ábaco. The atmosphere here is very relaxing and familiar. The relationship between the teacher and the student its the worthiest thing: this is our identity."

Director & Teacher: Licentiate Degree filología hispánica y Educación infantil at the University of Salamanca. Master Degree in "enseñanza de español como lengua extranjera" at the University of Salamanca. 10 Years of teaching experience in many language schools and in Cursos Internacionales at the Salamanca University.
"I founded this school 8 years ago just because I wanted to create a different school of language since my different experiences and I took the best of each of them all to create Ábaco. This school is not just a language school but also wants to be a family to its students and for me as well. I'm proud of each student who studied in the school in these 8 years"
The Institute
Great location : the institute is located 10 mins walking from to the campus, just 3 mins from the Cathedral and 5 mins from the Plaza Mayor. See the location in Google Maps
It has a library with Spanish learning and teaching materials, not only for grammar but also with specipic material such as D.E.L.E. preparation, business Spainsh, legal Spanish etc which serve as classroom assistance. We also have many DVDs in Spanish which students can take home whenever they like.
We have installed several computers with free internet for the students' use, just use them at any time or if you have your own laptop feel free to use the WIFI.
All of the classrooms in the school are air conditioned, this is important...it will get really hot in Salamanca in the summer.
